Italian Cheese And Beef Stuffing for Poultry

   This recipe makes a heavy poultry stuffing.  It would be great in the cool weather!


   1  clove garlic, minced

   3  T shortening

   1  pound ground beef

   2  eggs, beaten

   1  cup Italian cheese, grated

   1  cup Italian bread crumbs

   Salt to taste


   Brown garlic in shortening.

   Add beef, stiring to break up and brown.

   Remove from the heat and stir in the eggs, cheese, bread crumbs and salt.

   Cool and serve along side roasted poultry.


Makes 3 1/2 Cups salad
