This is a southern dessert loved by all! It is cold, sweet and very satisfying. It looks good, and can be made a few hours ahead of the party.
Ingredients
3 sticks butter
2 cups graham cracker crumbs
2 eggs
2 cups powdered sugar
5 bananas
1 large can of crushed pineapple, drained (no. 2 can )
2 small bottle Maraschino Cherries, drained
1 cup chopped nuts
Directions
Melt one stick of butter and mix with graham cracker crumbs; press into 9 x 13 x 2-inch dish.
Beat eggs, softened butter and powdered sugar for exactly 15 minutes. ( It will become a custard) Spread on top of crumbs. Slice bananas and place over custard. Add pineapple over bananas.
Make dream whip according to directions. Spread over top of pineapple. Place cherries and nuts on top.
