Milk Chocolate Praline Truffles
Servings: Makes About 6 Dozen | Prep. Time: 20 Min Prep |
These truffles are made with Bailey's Irish Cream Liquor. YUM!
Ingredients
8 ounces good quality, milk chocolate
1 egg yolk
3/4 cup Bailey's
4 praline candies, ground (1 cup)
NOTE* If you don't have pralines, use ground nuts.
Directions
Break chocolate into pieces and melt in double boiler over barely simmering water, whisking as it melts.
Remove from heat and whisk in egg yolk. Let stand over water until ready to use.
In a small saucepan scald liquor and pour into chocolate and whisk together. Whisk in ground praline and pour into a pan, the depth of 1 inch.
Chill or freeze until set.
Form into small balls and keep chilled as you go.
Roll in melted bittersweet chocolate or cocoa powder.
