Peanut Butter Frosts

For the peanut butter lover.
Ingredients
1 cup all purpose flour
1 cup quick cooking oats
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 tsp soda
1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
1/3 cup peanut butter
1 egg, beaten
Chopped peanuts (optional)
Peanut Butter Frosting:
1/4 cup butter or margarine, softened
1 1/2 cups powdered sugar, divided
1/4 cup peanut butter
1 Tbsp plus 2 tsp milk
1 tsp vanilla extract
Directions
Combine flour, oats, sugar, and soda in a large bowl. Add butter, peanut butter, and egg; stir until thoroughly blended. (Mixture will be crumbly.)
Press in the bottom of a greased 9 inch square pan.
Bake at 350 for 20 to 25 minutes or until the edges begin to pull away from sides of pan. (The center will be soft.) Cool completely.
Peanut Butter Frosting:
Combine butter and 1 cup sugar in a small mixing bowl; beat until creamy. Add remaining 1/2 cup sugar, peanut butter, milk, and vanilla; beat until fluffy. Add additional milk if needed for smooth consistency.
