Best Way To Store Fresh Herbs
February 2010Basil has a licorice taste when fresh, and the spicy fragrance of Anise and Lemon when dry. After washing, dry leaves completely before storing wrapped in paper towels or a plastic bag, in the refrigerator. Or leave Basil sprigs in water, the top covered loosley with a plastic bag.
This works well for cilantro, parsley, or any other herb you want to keep fresh longer.
